Palatine Paints implemented ISO 9001:2015 to benefit from improved customer satisfaction, increased productivity and enhanced customer relations. The requirements for implementing this standard is as follows:
The first step of implementation is to create a plan which includes goals, resources and responsibilities. Next, we carried out a PESTLE and SWOT analysis to determine our strengths, weaknesses and strategic management.
We spent a lot of time on the PDCA cycle where we monitored our results to see if there are any changes that need to be made, it also enabled us to see if we were meeting our customer’s expectations. Any areas that we identified that needed improvement, it was actioned on right away.
Palatine Paints have always had customer satisfaction at heart and always produces the highest quality paint products on the market, it is the foundation of our business and will continually be just that as we move forward with maintaining the ISO 9001:2015 certification alongside any future changes.
– Conduct an audit of our existing quality management system
– Carry out a gap analysis
– Document your plan for achieving compliance
– Establish a quality assurance team
– Assign roles and responsibilities to all team members
– Develop a quality manual
– Create a corrective and preventive action system
– Create a quality training plan
– Monitor and evaluate the quality system on an ongoing basis with Internal Audits
– Perform periodic audits to certify that the system is still functioning as designed
– Revise the manual as needed
The third phase in the ISO 9001:2015 certification process is maintaining the
certification. We’re confident in the quality of our products and service being offered and keep a close eye on monitoring this on a regular basis. This includes carrying out internal audits, reviewing employee training, monitoring customer feedback and a systematic approach to customer relations.
We make sure that our processes are up-to-date and that we’re following best practices throughout all stages of production.
