Active ingredients: Tebuconazole, IPBC and Permethrin.
Apply the product liberally to the end grain and allow it to be absorbed. The ends of the timber can also be stood in Cut End Preserver for an hour to allow the product to deeply penetrate.
Application method: Amateur: BRUSH AND ROLLER. Professional: BRUSH, DIP AND ROLLER.
Protect environment (e.g. Soil, plants, aquatic environment) from splashes.
Amateur / Professional uses: Shake Well. Apply using a synthetic brush designed for oil based products, spreading out thinly and evenly, ensure end grain is thoroughly treated along with cut and drilled areas. Reseal container after use. It is recommended that a minimum of 2 coats are applied depending on wood species and surface characteristics. Allow 6–12 hours drying time (touch dry) between coats. Application of successive coats will provide a darker finish and on smooth wood a higher sheen finish. If using the Clear Preserver in conjunction with a stain / wood dye it is recommended to apply the colourant before the Preserver, test effect on an off-cut initially. Before use, test a small inconspicuous area with all products to be used, to ensure a satisfactory final finish and compatibility. Do not use if ambient temperature is below 5°C or humidity is above 80%. Clean tools immediately after use with White Spirit or Brush Cleaner.
