Product Description

PROXL 2K Clear Lacquer Spray provides a high gloss crystal clear finish on painted car surfaces. It has excellent gloss retention and scratch resistance, and is UV and petrol resistant.

The aerosol is easy to activate and use, with mechanical polishing possible after 24 hours. The lacquer is available in 200ml and 500ml sizes, with a unique Vari-nozzle, which allows the spray pattern to be adjusted to adapt to the surface or project.

This aerosol allows for a professional lacquer finish without the use of a full spray gun set up.

We also have single pack lacquers available, such as Promatic Clear Lacquer and Prosolve Clear Lacquer.

Temperature Resistance: to 90°C

Touch Dry: 5 hours

Suitable Substrates (cleaned & abraded): Solvent or water based basecoat paint

Application Guide:

  • Carry out test spray
  • Areas to be sprayed must be free of grease, dust and dry
  • For professional use only
  • Wear an appropriate respirator

Application Process:

  • Remove cap and insert metal ring provided
  • Pull fully out and twist 360° to release activator
  • Shake the aerosol for at least 2 minutes, after agitator ball is free
  • Apply in cross coats from distance of 250mm from object
  • Allow 10mins for flash off between coats
  • Apply 2-3 coats
  • IR 15-20 minutes
  • Dust dry 5 minutes at 20°C, Touch dry 5 hours, Overcoatable 2 minutes at 20°C
  • UV 15-20 minutes, 20°C 24 hours, 40°C 40 minutes
  • After use, turn aerosol upside down and empty valve.
  • Once activated, use within 24 hours
